Obituary of Ann Watson
It is with great sadness the family of Elizabeth “Ann” Watson announce her sudden passing on October 27, 2022. Ann leaves to mourn her mother S. Patricia Watson (predeceased by mother Constance Elizabeth Watson (1953) and her father Geoffrey Kaye Watson (1993)). Also left to mourn are her siblings Julie Humphrey, Jane (Dave) Gaw, Michael (Pat) Watson, Susan Renouf (late Jay), Geoffrey, and David Watson (Cindy).
Ann will be terribly missed by her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly: Trish, Catie, Sarah G, Brad, Alexandra, Tom, Colleen, Matthew, Claire, Sarah R, Molly, Geoffrey, and William. Ann was also the proud aunt to many great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces.
Ann will be missed by her many wonderful friends both here and in the UK, where she taught for many years before her retirement.
For anyone wishing to attend Ann’s funeral service it will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (106 Church Street, Merrickville, Ontario). If desired, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
