Annie Illsley Toderash Monday April 25th 2022

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Annie Illsley at the St. Boniface Hospital on April 25, 2022.
Annie leaves behind three grown children Donald Prokopowich, Karen Kelbert, and Matthew Prokopowich. She is also survived by brother Peter Toderash and his wife Lois, and by brother Steve Toderash, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Annie is predeceased by her husband John Prokopowich (1990), and her second husband George Illsley (2007).
Born on April 7, 1943, Annie was one of seven children to parents Mary and George Toderash and grew up as a child in White Beach, Saskatchewan.
She was a graceful hard working individual throughout her life, a wonderful mother, and always tried to make time for others.
Annie worked as a custodian at the local school in Benito, Manitoba for a number of years. She enjoyed laughter, and a variety of music including a good rock concert. Always appreciating the little things in life, Annie was thankful for all the blessings that came her way.
A thank you goes out to all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for all the efforts and compassion they showed for Annie.
A celebration of Annie’s life will take place followed by a reception on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the E.J. Coutu Funeral Home located at 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
