Annette’s Obituary
BOURGEOIS, Annette Rose ~ Age 56, of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Leona A. (Smith) Melanson, Meteghan, and the late J. Laurent Melanson. Annette was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Kingston congregation. She and her husband were in partnership in the firm Squeege Man, and were well known in the Annapolis Valley area. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Pierre J. Bourgeois, sons, Eric Bourgeois, at home; Daniel Bourgeois, Greenwood; brother, Lloyd Smith, Meteghan. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 337 Highway 1, Kingston, with Mr. William Bell officiating. The service will be viewable on the following zoom link ID 9027651234 with password 986753. Interment at a later date in Cemetery of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Weymouth. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to your favourite charity.
