Obituary of Anne Cillis
Cillis, Anne – Peacefully, on Thursday April 14, 2022 at her home in Georgetown. Anne, in her 78th year, beloved mother of Dave (Bronwyn) and Carolin Cillis. Loving nanny of Jennifer, Amanda (DJ), Jesse, Rebecca Lynn and David. Great nanny of Jasen, Tyler, Mercedes, Emily and Olivia. Dear sister of Mike (Vicky) Pickup. Anne was proud to have worked as a nurse at the Georgetown Hospital for 47 years and proud to be a member and a volunteer at St. Andrew’s United Church for many years. Anne enjoyed travelling, playing euchre and will be forever remembered by her family and friends as being a loving, caring, kind and friendly person. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 89 Mountainview Road South, Georgetown on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation or the SPCA would be appreciated.     She was a great nurse and a great peer & mentor.
    She was so respected by her peers .
    No one could start an IV like Anne!!
