With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. Surrounded by her loving family, Anne passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s.
Predeceased by her devoted husband of 48 years, Kevin Bennett; parents Albert and Anastasia (Ryan) Molloy; brother Leo Molloy; brother-in-law Brian Kielly, and good friend Brenda Bennett.
Leaving to mourn and cherish the many wonderful memories, are her two loving children, Barry (Catherine) and Trina (Neal); her four precious grandchildren, Abby, Ben, Gracie and Lauren. She is also survived by her siblings Bertha (Billy), Shirley (Aloysius), Garry, Donna (Billy), Valerie; sister-in-law Marlie; a large number of nieces and nephews, and many friends both old and new.
Whether it be a good sing-along, putting some puzzles together, or just a saucy chat, Anne was always up for a good time. She prided herself on lookin’ good, whether it was getting her hair done, going for a manicure, or having someone do her makeup.
A very heart felt thank you to the wonderful staff at the ICU, St. Clare’s. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
Mom will be resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home in Trepassey on Saturday, May 7th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm, and Sunday, May 8th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. The funeral mass will take place on Monday, May 9th at 1:00 pm at Holy Redeemer Church.
Interment will follow at the New Cemetery in Trepassey. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations can be made to Holy Redeemer Parish.
