Anne Lambly Somers 19632022

Anne (Lambly) Somers
1963-2022
We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Anne
(Lambly) Somers on June 12, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in
Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Anne Elizabeth
(Betty) Lambly.
Though she was a long-time employee of Sobey’s, her
real passions were cross stitching, caring for her 6 finches, and
visiting her family through her iPad- all while drinking upwards of a
dozen cups of King Cole tea every day. Her husband Robert once made
the mistake of bringing home Red Rose tea and was promptly sent back
out to get the right brew. Anne had a loving and generous heart, and
dedicated many years to the care and companionship of her mother Anne
Elizabeth, with whom she shared many cups of tea until her mother’s
passing in 2021.
Anne will be deeply missed by her husband Robert Bourque,
sons Derek (Kelsey) and Drew Somers, step-sons Greg (Annick) and Jason
(Sabrina) Bourque, sister Dorothy Gabbey (Richard), brothers Peter
(Judith) and Russell Lambly, grandchildren Hudson, Nixon, Kenzie,
Lucas, and Emmerick, and in-laws Alcide and Elizabeth Bourque. Besides
her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Judith Bates and
nephews Alex and Jesse Bates.
Her arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview
(869-2007). A private family gathering to celebrate her life will take
place at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health
Association would be appreciated by her family. To leave an online
