Anne Jamieson 1950 2022

Anne
Jamieson – 71, Truro,
passed away peacefully, with Stephanie and John at her side, on
Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Liverpool, England, she was a daughter of the late Harold and
Ivy (Reanney) Clark.
Anne had a lengthy career with Halifax Regional Municipality
in the Deputy Chief Administration Office and this is what her
colleagues wrote about her and her position, “Anne has been
very instrumental in moving the Council Report process to the
electronic realm, including developing and presenting training to new
managers. This ensures HRM Council has information which is complete,
correct and accessible when they need to make decisions on matters
affecting citizens. She routinely provides direction and advice to
employees on how to move a report through the process, exhibiting
patience and professionalism. Anne interacts with staff of all levels
of the organization with a high degree of professionalism and
integrity.” She was an avid crafter and especially enjoyed
knitting, and her family will treasure the many socks, mittens,
scarves and many other things she made over the years.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (John) Mayfield,
Old Barns; sister, Jean Gallant (John Wood), St.
Catharine’s, Ontario; niece, Sharron Gallant,
Dartmouth.
If so desired, donations in Anne’s memory to
Colchester East Hants Health Centre Foundation are
welcomed.
