Anne Coutts
1916-2022
The passing of Anne (Bouzovetsky) Coutts, wife of the late
Douglas Taylor Coutts occurred peacefully at her residence in St.
George NB on January 10, 2022. Born in Oscar Lake SK on August 22,
1916, she was a daughter of the late Wasyl “William” and
Zena (Galata) Bouzovetsky. A loving mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, Anne is
survived by one son: Donald Coutts (Donna) of St. George NB; daughter:
Jane Glennie (Greg) of Lake Utopia NB; grandchildren: Tamara
Glennie-Stevens (Dave), Douglas Coutts (Lisa), Kim Glennie (Mike),
Darren Coutts and Grant Glennie (Katie); great-grandchildren: Morgan,
Cameron, Madison, Jacob, Casey, Emma, Gracyn, Connor, Hudson, Carlie
and Charlee; one great-great-grandchildren: Brayer; chosen family:
Shawna Coutts, Tammy Coutts and Dawn Marie Glennie; one brother: Mike
Bouzovetsky of Saskatoon SK;sisters: Sonia Lubchenko and Myrtle
Twarynski (Peter) both of Saskatoon SK; several nieces, nephews and
cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was predeceased
by her brothers: Albert and Johnny Bouzovetsky; and sisters: Maria
Olifirenko and Luba Bouzovetsky.
Prior to retirement Anne worked as a waitress for many local
establishments and was also employed with Connors Bros. in Blacks
Harbour. Anne was a lifetime member of the St. George Curling Club and
curled as often as she could. She had a passion for gardening and
loved to be outside tending to her flowers. A loving Bubba to all her
grandchildren, Anne loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her
family and she will be sadly missed by all who knew
her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. As keeping with Anne’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In her memory,
donations to the Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural Program would be
appreciated by the family.
