Obituary of Anna Unger
October 8, 1956 – February 21, 2022

We lovingly remember the life of our dear sister Anna. Anna was born on October 8, 1956, to parents John and Susan Unger in Rhineland, Durango, Mexica. Anna was the youngest of three children. She was a year old when she and her family moved from Mexico to Canada. They settled in Rosthern where she grew up and went to school.
When she finished school, she moved to Saskatoon. She worked at a few jobs with the main one being a bench tech at SED System, assembling electronic circuit boards for engineers to test. Anna enjoyed her work until she developed a health issue.
Anna had many talents and hobbies, some of them being crocheting, knitting, and doing stained glass projects. Everything she did was done to perfection. She was also interested in antiques and many other collectables. She loved flowers and birds and had many thriving indoor plants.
In 2016 it was clear that Anna needed help with everyday functions. She was then assessed and was no longer able to live on her own. Mom took her in, and she stayed with Mom for about a year. Anna’s health continually deteriorated, and it became too much for Mom to take care of her.
March of 2017 Anna was admitted to the Mennonite Nursing Home at Rosthern where she spent her last five years. There she was lovingly cared for until the day of her passing. Anna, at 65 years, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 21, 2022.
Anna was predeceased by her dad in July of 2015. Left to morn are, her mom Susan Unger, brother John (Betty), sister Nettie (Ken), six nieces, two nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
