Obituary of Anna Klassen
Klassen, Anna (Martens) passed away peacefully at her residence, Terrace Lodge on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in her 84th year. Anna was born in Mexico on December 30, 1938 to Frank and Margaretha (Enns) Martens. She was the 3rd child of 13. For many years after her 10 children were grown, she took seniors into her home to provide personal care and accommodation. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Klassen (2020), married for 64 years. Loving mother of Frank Klassen (Annette), Margaret Boldt (Henry), Jake Klassen (Margaret), Dave Klassen (Tina), Ann Klassen (Henry), John Klassen (Wendy), Peter Klassen (Sara), Tina Gonzales (Rick), Abe Klassen (Lisa), and Henry Klassen (Nancy). Loving grandmother of 30 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Sister of Susana Neufeld (Jacob), Abe Martens (Helen), and Heinrich Martens (Katharina). Predeceased by her husband Jacob Klassen, daughter-in-law Karen, and grandson Jacobi, her parents and 9 siblings.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the Old Colony Church, 49989 Dingle Street where the funeral will take place on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 2 pm. We are thankful to all the staff at Terrace Lodge. All your hard work is very appreciated. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Alzheimer Society.
