Born in Gross-Berssen, Germany on March 18, 1936 to the late Johann and Regina Schlangen. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Theo Welter. Cherished mother of Annette (Don), Theo (Paula), the late Jeff (survived by wife Anita), Colleen (Jeff) and the late John Conrad Welter. Treasured grandmother of Corey, Zach (Coral), Amanda, Rose, Emma, Emily, Halley, Jessica, Tessa, Drew (Danya) and the late Dane; great-grandchildren Noah, Bella, Memphis and Macie.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. Refreshments will be offered after the service prior to proceeding to Bond Head Cemetery in Newcastle for 2 p.m.
