Ann Mae Kerr Pinsonnault February 15 1930 May 21 2022 (age 92)

Obituary
Ann was born in Victoria BC, the first daughter of John and Kay Kerr. She went to Margaret Jenkins elementary and graduated from Victoria High School. During the turbulent war years, she lost her father and her mother returned to work. Ann was given the task of looking after her younger sister, a somewhat awesome task at her age. Ann lived in Eastern Canada, with a magical few years in England raising her four children,
Life’s mysterious ways put both sisters in Gibsons in the 1970s. Jobs were much needed and somewhat unexpectedly, they decided to open a fish market together despite their lack of prior experience.
A different life began, many new and treasured friends were made and a wonderful feeling of belonging became real. Ann and Jane retired to Halfmoon Bay to enjoy the thrill of an occasional visit by a wandering bear. There were many happy get-togethers with family, grandchildren, and numerous dogs.
The help Ann received throughout her illness by her care aids and all who cared for her was exceptional and beyoned mere words.
She is sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
