It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ann Marie Legge of Burin Bay Arm announces her passing. Ann passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, at the age of 64. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband of 28 years, Carl Legge; children, Earl (Rosie) of Fort McMurray, Mary (Brad) of Baine Harbour, Krista (Jason) of Boat Harbour, Rodney (Holly) of St. John’s, Johnny (Stephanie) of Flat Rock, Thomas (Katelyn) of Fort McMurray; step-children, Raymond of Fort McMurray and Melissa of St. John’s; grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan, Jay, Jesse, Nick, Carly, Lily, Lila, Alexandra, Kinsley, Billy, Lisa, Ella, Charlie, Dakota, Joshua; great-grandchild Weston; sisters, Kitty (Ray) of Toronto, Lucy of Marystown, Sheila (Jobie) of Medicine Hat, Jaqueline of Toronto, Georgina (Jeff) of Toronto; brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; also a large of circle of family and friends especially Goldie, Carm and Bernadette; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Keating; parents George and Nora Cheeseman; parents-in-law Gordon and Jessie Legge; brother-in-law Brian Timmons.
Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. No matter where she went, Ann left a lasting impression. She loved to have fun, laugh and enjoy life to the fullest. Her generosity knew no bounds; never turning anyone away from her table. Ann loved to cook and always believed the more the merrier. The only thing she asked is that you don’t leave hungry. She had a great love for the country and enjoyed every minute spent at the cabin. However, there was nothing she loved more than her children and grandchildren.

Ann’s Funeral Service will take place at Bethany United Church, Burin Bay Arm on Monday, December 12th, 2022 at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow at Bethany United Church Cemetery.
In Ann’s memory, donations may be made to The Bethany United Church Roof Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
