Ann Jerrett November 30 1944 December 14 2022

Obituary
It is with great love and adoration that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Ann Jerrett after a valiant and brave battle with cancer.
Predeceased by husband, Marshall Jerrett; parents Alice and Walter Butt; sisters Florence Hiscock and Ethel Trudy; brothers-in-law Ron Cakes and Vic Langer; sister-in-law Judy Jerrett; companion Al Conrod; as well as many other family and friends gone before her.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four children Angela (Geoff), Tina (Andy), Jason (Cindy) and Jeffery (Melissa); six grandchildren Colin, Nathan, Amelia, Charlotte, Brooklyn and Lennie; brothers and sisters Art (Hilda) George, Marina Langer, Joyce Cakes, Judy (Fred) Hopkins and Selby (Valerie) Butt; sister-in-law Joyce Jerrett; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and countless friends.
Our mother’s zest for life was infectious. She loved her community and her church and gave selflessly to many committees and organizations. She was a Girl Guide Leader for many years and gently helped many young women to “Be Prepared”. Mom was involved with the Canadian Hemophilia Society for over 40 years, often lending a listening ear and words of encouragement to families who needed it. Mom was a sports enthusiast! She intensely watched curling; loved Hockey Night in Canada and was a faithful HABS fan. She was an avid gardener and loved her greenhouse. We have been blessed to call her our mother.
Our family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Neurological team of the Health Science Centre, Hospital Clergy Rev Karen Thorne for spiritual comfort, The Palliative Care team of Carbonear General and the many family and friends who showed support to us.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Sunday, December 18th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, December 19th at 2pm from St. Andrews United Church, Whiteway. Inurnment to follow in the UC Cemetery, Cavendish; overlooking the community she loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to The NL Hemophilia Society.
Rest in peace, dear Mother.
