Ann F Reid 1958 2022

It is with
profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ann F.
Reid at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. on Friday,
September 30, 2022.
Born in St.
Stephen, N.B., daughter of the late John and Christine (Christie)
Reid.
Ann worked
alongside her family at their grocery store in Milltown. She worked
for many years with the mentally challenged and later in her career
was a Human Services Counsellor in Saint John, until her retirement
due to illness.
Ann is
survived by her brothers, Ron (Donna), Jim (Cindy) and Tom (Jo-anne),
chosen daughter, Natasha Armstrong and her children, Coltin and Eowyn,
aunt, Carol Ann Little (Lawrence). She is also survived by several
nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom she loved very much and her canine
companion, Frankie. She had a multitude of friends, who were an
important part of her life over the years.
Funeral
Service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home
Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022
at 3 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday,
October 4, 2022 from 6-9 PM.
Interment at
Milltown Catholic Cemetery, Barter Settlement,
N.B.
For those
who wish, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation,
Charlotte County SPCA or a charity of one’s choice would be
appreciated.
The family
wants to thank Dr. Norman Lister, Charlotte County Hospital and Extra
Mural for their excellent and sometimes difficult care of Ann over the
years. Special thanks to her caregivers, especially Cindy Holmes for
her long-time care and for her friendship to Ann and her support to
the family during this difficult time.
