Ann Cain September 7 1926 September 21 2022

CAIN, Ann (nee Kereluk) – It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of our beloved Aunt, Ann Cain (nee Kereluk) in her 97th year. Auntie Ann was born on September 7th, 1926, and raised on the family farm on Sumbler Road in rural Welland. She was predeceased by her parents John and Katie and her only brother Mike Sr (Florence). Aunt Ann will be missed by her nephew Mike Jr and his wife Charlene, and nephew Mark and his partner Sheri. She is Great Aunt to Chris (Cathy) Kereluk, and Karen (Keith) DiPirro, and Great Great Aunt to Connor, Owen, Mikayla (Frank), Maddi, Mason, Drew and Luke.
Fiercely independent and extremely private, she worked for many years as an office secretary, part owner of a trucking company and personal caregiver. Auntie Ann had a great love for all animals, especially her cats and dogs, and as such, donations to the Welland Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
Our family would like to express our thanks to her lawyer, Mr. Steve Latinovich, whose kindness and guidance to our Aunt throughout the years was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. We would also like to thank the staff at Northland Pointe in Port Colborne for their compassionate care our Aunt received over the past three plus years. How lucky we are here in Niagara to have such a wonderful facility.
A graveside service will take place at the Fonthill Cemetery on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11 a.m . Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
