Our Lord has come to take our Mom back home. Ann passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the Miner’s Memorial Manor, where she had been a long-time resident.
Born in Sydney Mines, Ann was the daughter of the late Michael and Annie (Miller) Boutilier.
Ann loved playing her Gibson and singing. She was a regular at Branch 8, Pensioners Club and many more places. She was loved by anyone who ever crossed her path. She was also one of the biggest Kitty lovers in the world.
Ann is survived by her children, Ella (Doug Hope) and Michael (Monica), her13 grandchildren, Wendy, (Craig), Joanna, Wesley Jr (Chantell), Melinda (Luke), Holly (Corey), Ashley, Mason, Harley, Gordon, Ryan, Rachel, Brittany and Ray, and her 15 great-grandchildren, Summer, Dion, Kasey, Gabby, Craig Jr, Baby Wes Jr, Dominic, Charlotte, Sidney, Nova, Wyatt, Daxton and Danielle (2 little girls we haven’t met yet)
Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her daughter Alice (late Wes Pye), husband Bernard Wm Dawe, sister Mary Jones, and Mike Boutilier Jr.
A very special thank you to all the Nurses and Staff at the Miner’s Memorial Manor and for the staff and doctors who took good care of our Mom at the Northside General and the Cape Breton Regional.
Her family will receive visitors on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 2-4 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Graveside service to follow. If anyone would like to make a donation of any kind it would be to the SPCA…
