Obituary for
Aniela “Angela” Kalwajtys
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Aniela “Angela” Kalwajtys on March 27, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
Aniela was survived by her husband, Stanislaw Kalwajtys; children, Elizabeth Collins (Jerry), Chrystopher Kalwajtys (Denise), and Edward Kalwajtys; grandchildren, Shaun Collins, Angela Collins, David Kalwajtys (Shealynn), Candace Kalwajtys and Brodric Kalwajtys; great-grandchildren, Parker Hochreiter, Mavrick Kalwajtys and Jude Kalwajtys; siblings, Sophie (Marion) Gawlak, Chester Dudzic and Stella Papanek (Stan); and grand-puppy, Halo.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jozeph and Katarya Dudzic; siblings, Wladyslawa Dudzic, Antoni Dudzic, Zygmunt Dudzic, Boleslaw Dudzic, Melusia Dudzic and Josef Jr. Dudzic.
Aniela loved to sing and dance with her husband, Stanislaw. They both sang in the polish choir at Holy Rosary Church for many years where they made lifelong friends. Performing on stage, in plays and dancing, was another special joy that they shared.
Everyone that knows her will remember her as a woman of grace, strength, and as a loving mother and grandmother. We will miss so many things about her – her thoughtfulness, sense of humor, kindness and mostly her smile. She taught her family members so much and made us better people. Mom, you made the world a better place. You will always be in our hearts.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, at 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 11485 – 106 Street, Edmonton with inurnment in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
