Obituary of Angus George Grant
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Angus George Grant of Waterville, NB, announce his passing after a brief illness at the DECH in Fredericton, NB, on the 16th of November, 2022. Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, on the 9th of November, 1957, he was the son of the late Angus Grant (Verna) and the late Helen Ladoucer (John)
Angus had a big heart and brought a smile to everyone’s face with a sense of humor that was contagious. He loved his family, friends and fur babies. He retired from his career with DND after 35 years, where he made many friends over the years.
He will be forever missed by his wife Angela Grant; his daughters Meaghan Ross (Jason) of Burton, NB, and Amanda Grant (Anthony) of Fredericton, NB; his step children Krystle Maillet (Matthew) of Burton, NB, and Roger Down of Lincoln, NB; his grandchildren McKenzie Morgan, Emily Maillet and Malcom Down; his fur babies Duchess, Duke and Bella; his nephews and niece Randy Smith (Danika), Wade Smith, Ryan Grant (Karoline), Jason Walsh and Tracy Barton. Angus will be missed by his siblings Kenneth Grant of Halifax, NS, Gary Grant of Nevers Road, and his favorite sister Virginia Grant (Lenny) of Burton, NB; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday the 22nd of November, 2022, at the Burton Lions Club from 6pm to 9pm. For those who wish to remember Angus by donation, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society or the Oromocto SPCA.
