After a long battle with cancer, died peacefully at home with family by his side on May 15, 2022 at 78 years of age. Beloved husband of Diane (nee VanderZanden) for 51 years. Cherished father of Michael (Christina) and Maureen MacIsaac. Loving grandfather of Shae-Lyn, Tia, Quinn and Blake. Predeceased by his parents. Dear brother of Marie Ray (Tom), Winnie Magee (Jim), Cathie Snider (Don), the late Joe, Rita MacIsaac (Wally Pirker) and Robert. Brother-in-law of the late George VanderZanden (Ivy), Loretta LeFaive (the late Bob), the late Helen O’Connor (late Terry), the late Mary Nappa (late Louis), Elizabeth Sokolik (Jerry), Linda Holgate (Tom).
Angus retired after 30 years of service from Hiram Walker. He was a longtime volunteer with the Windsor Goodfellows, achieving Goodfellow of The Year in 2005. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4924, Bishop John T. Kidd, served on the Board of Directors for Riverside Minor Baseball for many years and an usher for Our Lady Guadalupe Church.
If you so desire, donations may be made to the Windsor Goodfellows or the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
Visiting on Thursday from 3-5pm & 7-9pm with Parish and Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:30pm at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Friday, friends and family are invited to meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial to follow Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
