Angus’ Obituary
GREGORY, Angus Charles – age 69 of Middle Ohio, Shelburne Co, passed away Sunday March 27th after a brief battle with cancer, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, with his family by his side.
Born in Shelburne on May 15th 1952, he was the son of the late Churchill and Florence (Young) Gregory.
Angus worked at a multitude of places, starting his career, he worked for 25 years for Irving Oil, then he worked for the Department of Transportation. Later he worked for the Shelburne Stevedores, where he retired from in May of 2021. In his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and loved animals especially his new dog River. He also enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren. He belonged to the Shelburne Volunteer Fire Department and was also a member of the Middle and Upper Ohio Fire Department, right up until his passing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne (Bower) of Middle Ohio, sons, Jonathan Gregory (Amanda) of PEI, Angus Gregory (Kelly) of Glenwood, Trevor Gregory (Patricia) of West Green Harbor. Step- sons, Brian Hemeon of Sandy Point, Jason Hemeon (Summer) of Upper Ohio. His grandchildren; Brady, MacKenzie, Belle, Lexie, Hudson, Terry, Marcie, Dawson, Savannah, Kallie, Mekayla, Karlee, Kiara and a special niece Elizabeth.
Besides his parents Angus was predeceased by his sister Mary Cameron and granddaughter Chloe Rose Gregory.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium Ltd. A celebration of Angus’s life (Visitation) will be held Wednesday March 30th from 6-8 pm at Huskilsons Funeral Chapel, 58 Bulkley Street, Shelburne. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday March 31 st from H.M. Huskilson Funeral Home, Shelburne, committal to take place at the funeral home. A reception will be held at the Middle and Upper Ohio Fire Department immediately ollowing the service. Donations may be made to the Middle and Upper Ohio Fire Department, The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net
