Angelo Giordano
July 22, 1943 – July 6, 2022
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Angelo Giordano on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the age of 78 years. Angelo was born July 22, 1943, in Dipignano, Italy.
Angelo is survived by Maria, his wife of 54 years; his children, Teresa (Nick) Giordano-Sandrin, Jennifer (Don) Giordano-Coltart, Brian (Kelly) Giordano; grandchildren, Matteo and Mila Giordano; siblings, Maria (Antonio) Valle, Frank (Lina) Giordano, Tony (Grace) Giordano, Lina (Ihor) Lytviak, Aldo (Maria) Giordano, Settimio (Suzanne) Giordano and Pina (James) Giordano-Chow; brother-in-law, Vince (Silvana) Casciaro; sisters-in-law, Silvia Casciario and Jo (Bruce) Flesher. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by parents, Salvatore and Teresa Giordano.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Angelo’s health care aides, Gail, Evelyn and Julie for their care and support and especially to Julie for her care and compassion at the time of his passing. They also wish to thank the staff at the Adult Day Program at Sturgeon Community Hospital.
Prayer Service Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 8 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail.
