Obituary of Angelina Laflamme
LAFLAMME, Angelina (nee Grootenboer)
December 14, 1942 – July 1, 2022
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother. Cherished wife of Gilles for 54 adventurous years. Beloved mother to Gillian Laflamme (Jim Denomme). Proud and awesome grandmother to Lieneke and Pierce. Sister to Doewe Grootenboer (Valerie) and Hermina Bradshaw (Bob). She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Angelina had many passions including gardening, kayaking, Windsor Es County Canoe Club member, cycling, marathons (completing 10 Free Press marathons), W.R.A.C.E member, knitting and cooking for her family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Schlegel Villages for their compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234, on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 2 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 4 p.m. in the Chapel. Reception to follow.
