Obituary of Angela Valerie Brewer
BREWER, ANGELA V.
October 10, 1946-August 22, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angela V. Brewer of Fredericton, NB, daughter of the late Lily (Ware) and Harry H. Jones on August 22, 2022. She was predeceased by brothers, Keith Jones of Hanwell, NB, David Jones of Williamsburg, NB and half sister, Edith Derrah.
She is survived by her husband, Keith and children, Natalie Boyle (Todd), Andrea Brewer, David Jones (Nicole) of Berry Mills, NB and Shelley Jones of New Glasgow, NS. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Colby and Kathleen Boyle, Gavin and Ian Jones. Survived also by her sister, Dianne Stanton (Stanley) of Whale Cove, NS; half sisters, Eleanor Scott (Bert) and Donna Ward (Bill); nieces Annie Jenkins (Dean) of Whale Cove, NS, Dr. Meghan Stanton (Taylor) of New York, USA; nephew, Matthew Stanton (Bee) of Milford, NS and several other nieces, nephews; and brother and sisters in law.
Angela was an avid reader and had a passion for gardening. Her love of art led her to volunteer as a docent at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery for nearly 25 years. Her big heart and compassionate nature drew her to volunteering with several organizations including Red Cross, Neighbourlink, Community Living and the Cancer Society. She worked several years at NB Power in the PR department and was a communication clerk at the DECH for 2 decades.
She was the heartbeat of our family and will be forever loved and missed.
In keeping with Angela’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
