Angela Terra Johnston – age 48, of Knoxville, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Angela is from Ohio and has lived in Knoxville for the past 14 years. Angela was of Baptist faith and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Knoxville. She was an Iraqi Freedom Veteran serving in the Army as a sergeant / LPN from 2003 – 2008. She was employed as a registered nurse with the Veterans Administration until 2018. Angela then began working toward her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner until February 2022.
Angela is preceded in death by her father, David Seal Sr; brother, Sam Seal; Father and Mother-in-law; Jerry and Donna Johnston; Sister-in-Law, Tracy Tee.
She leaves behind her husband, Jeff Johnston; mother, Susan Sutton; sons, Cody Kuhn (Lyndsey Hall) and Joey Calhoun; daughter, Jennifer (Max) Senyaj; brother, David Seal, Jr; Sister, Shana (Angelo) Dial; granddaughter, Ellie Kuhn; Sister-in-law, Jessica Seal; Uncles, Roland (Cynthia) Shirley and William Shirley; Aunt, Cindy Powers; Brother-in-law, Virgil Tee; Sister-in-laws, Tammy (Ron) Greene and Theresa (Willie) Reyes; Nephews, Xzavier Seal, Gradyn Seal, Kendall Tee, Chris Babcock, Colby Greene; Nieces, Camdyn Seal, Brooklyn Seal, Liz Tee, Cheyenne Tee, and Linda Babcock; along with many additional family and friends.
The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Bridges Funeral Home with service to follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Clarence Gresham and Pastor Luke Wilkerson. Family and friends will meet at Veterans Cemetery at 8:15 AM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 for an 8:30 AM graveside service.
