Mom will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her unwavering faith. She shared with us her strong work ethic that came with raising a large family. Her table was always open, her fridge was always well stocked as she enjoyed the warmth of friends dropping in and sharing a cup of tea, Saturday soup, Sunday dinner, a game of cards or a chat. Her humour, quick wit and sometimes feisty nature, always ensured a “good laugh.” You never knew who could be seated at her table but they were always welcomed as part of the family. Her little dog Princess will also miss her.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Torbay Road.
Although Mom loved flowers and gardening, her preference, in lieu of flowers, is that donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, NL. www.diabetes.ca.
