“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.” Andrew (Benoit) Bennett age 87, passed away at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Thursday, April 21st, 2022. Andrew worked most of his career as a mechanic at French’s Esso on Main Street in Stephenville, NL. Andrew lived with his wife, the love of his life, Mary Bennett on Evergreen Drive in Stephenville, NL where they raised 4 children.
Andrew leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his daughter Carolyn (Shane) O’Quinn; his three sons: Raymond (Dora), Kevin (Sharon/daughter Robin), and Danny (Cherie); his grandchildren: Devin, Travis, Keisha, Jared, Francis, Patrick, and Kolton; and his great grandchildren: Zoe, Eric, Jace, Jayden, Paige and Isabella.
Also leaving to mourn his last surviving sibling Adeline O’Gorman and a very large circle of extended relatives and friends.
Andrew was predeceased by his wife and love of his life, Mary Bennett. In passing Andrew took comfort in knowing he would be reunited with Mary once again in Heaven. As per their wishes, Andrew will be laid to rest with his loving wife.
Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Sunday April 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at 10:00 am from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with burial to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
