Anastasia Pispidikis
1943-2022
Peacefully, at home,
after a lengthy illness and surrounded by the love of her family,
Anastasia passed away, in her 79th year, on February, 10,
2022. Loving wife of Michael for 60 years and mother of John
& his wife Christina of Toronto and Paul & his wife
Georgina of London. Cherished grandmother of Fotini,
Dimitri, Michael & Anastasios. Dear sister of
Afroditi & Niko Podonis of London and Stergios
(deceased) & Fotoula Hapsalis of Greece.
Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Anastasia &
Michael immigrated into Pier 21 Halifax, N.S. in 1963 via Germany and
made London their home on Thanksgiving day 1963. Anastasia
worked many years serving others in restaurants, at McCormick’s, as a
dress maker and retired from the Mayfair Room at Eaton’s.
She was a longtime member and supporter of the Holy Trinity Greek
Community of London. Anastasia loved her family and her
greatest love was the joy of caring for her
grandchildren.

Visitation will be held
at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on
Monday, February 14, 2022 from 9:30-10:30a.m. Funeral
service will follow in the church at 10:30a.m. Interment in
Woodland Cemetery.
*NOTE*: As per the
directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers
will be restricted and masks are
mandatory.
