Passed away peacefully on August 26th, 2022 at the age of 91. Reunited with her husband Gustav (2002). Beloved mother to Kornel (Svetlana) Sijanta, Hilda Sijanta and Helen (Drago) Markovic. Cherished grandmother to Erwin Sijanta (Stephanie), Melissa Markovic (Mark), Anita (Rick) Adamo, Tim (Lauren) Markovic and Joshua Sijanta. Will be remembered by her great grandchildren Sawyer, Makenna, Matteo, Marco, Mila and Layla. Sister to the late Katica Madjar. Ana as well survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church. Ana always greeted everyone with a smile and a nod. She was kind and compassionate and loved her Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit (3 south) at Hotel Dieu for their calmness, kindness and impeccable care. Also, thank you to the Paramed nurses for their at home assistance.
Visitation to be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Wednesday August 31st from 6-9pm. Prayers and Words of remembrance at 8:30pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday September 1st from 10am until time of service at 11am in the chapel. Burial to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens (1185 Hwy 3). In honour of Ana donations are appreciated to Grace Baptist Church Fund. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com.

  1. Dear Kornel, Hilda and family, it was always a treat to stop and chat with your Mom. Your Mom was a very loving person. I always remembered to loosen Toby’s collar before visiting as I did not want to catch heck from your mother. It was a privilege knowing her. May she Rest In Peace .
