Amy Claudette Gordon 1967 2022

Obituary of Amy Claudette Gordon
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loved one, Amy Claudette Gordon on Sunday, December 4, 2022. She was born and raised in Regina on August 17, 1967.
Amy was predeceased by her grandparents, Agnes and David Gordon, Ruby and Edward Wahpooseyan; father Winston Gordon (2003;) and brother Clark Gordon (2010).
Amy is survived by her mother Viola Gordon; sisters, Marcia, Tanya; special brother David, all of Regina; children, Jennifer (Jesse), Scarlett (Kyle), Mieka (Chris), and Amos (Charnelle); father of her children, Mike Sacasecawin; grandchildren, Harold, Winston, Lawrence, Darrius, Sophia, Brooklyn, Troy, Remi, Kiara, Jesse Jr, Oliver, Nicholas, Everleigh and Kiera; and two nephews Moses Gordon and Titus Gordon, who were dear to her heart.
Amy was fortunate to have known her grandmothers Ruby Wahpooseyan and Agnes Gordon. She enjoyed and cherished the times she was able to spend with them.
Amy was outgoing and kept busy with different activities. She especially enjoyed the opportunity to spend time and to travel with family and friends. On one occasion she and her sister Marcia traveled to Germany and Paris to visit their cousin, Gina. Amy also accompanied her aunt Leona and cousin Angela numerous times to visit in Calgary. One special trip she made was with her parents and young brother David when they attended a church convention in Seattle, Washington.
An important time in Amy’s life was when her father pastored a church. Amy enjoyed attending church with her family. Eventually, she became involved with a youth group.
Amy’s interests and hobbies included playing baseball in elementary school, becoming involved in a bowling league, spending time roller skating (when a rink existed), and taking time for piano lessons.
Family was important to Amy, therefore, spending time with other family members was something she enjoyed. She looked forward to coming together for special occasions.
Amy loved her grandchildren very much; they held a special place in her heart. She would have liked to have spent more time with them but unfortunately, Amy’s recent struggles in her life prevented this from happening.
Amy held a special bond with her younger brother David. Throughout the years at home, she spent countless hours playing with him and just spending time with him.
Amy will be remembered for many things, her care and generosity for others. She had a sense of humour and an infectious laugh.
Amy will be missed greatly by family and friends. We love you Amy, and we will miss you dearly. Though you are gone from this life, you will remain in our hearts always.
