It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Amber Hillyard, age 47, announces her sudden passing on July 9, 2022, at Dr. S. Beckley Health Centre, Grand Bank, NL.
Born on June 1, 1975 in St. Anthony, NL she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Maggie (Noseworthy) Hillyard. She will be forever missed by her loving daughters Tori, Tenesha (Morley) and Tiffany; brother Aubrey (Amy); nieces Lillian and Ellen; common law partner William Savory and grandchildren who she loved dearly (A.J., Mason, Rose, Scarlett, Natalya, Darla and Drew), many aunts, uncles, cousins, special friend Gary and her large circle of extended family and friends.
Besides her parents, Amber was also predeceased by two infant sisters Tammy and Connie and common law partner Rodney Macey.
Amber was raised in Red Bay, NL where she graduated from Basque Memorial All Grade School and went on to raise her family there. Amber will be remembered for her kindness and love for her family. She looked after her parents while their health was failing and later would work with Home Care before moving on to the Burin Peninsula. She was well loved by her family and friends.
Cremation has been entrusted to Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Grand Bank, NL with a Service of Remembrance to be held at Red Bay United Church on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 2:00pm. Inurnment following the service.
