1945-2022
Alton MacDonald of Carlingford, NB, passed away peacefully at the
Upper River Valley Hospital on September 2, 2022.
Alton was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on September 28, 1945. He was the
son of the late Harry and Doris (Alexander) MacDonald. Alton leaves
behind his loving wife of 50 years, Jeannine MacDonald (Vaillancourt);
his daughter, Tammy MacDonald (Philip Hall) of Riverview, NB; his son,
Jason MacDonald (Deborah Buffett) of Salisbury, NB; his grandchildren,
Melissa MacDonald and Madox MacDonald Hall; his sister, Judy Barr
(Robert) of Rowena, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.
Alton was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Barbara Argraves
and Joyce Lauridsen; his brothers, Jon and Ivan MacDonald.
Respecting Alton’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service
held at Larlee Creek Cemetery. Father Gilbert Doddatto
officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
