Alphonsus Joseph Spurvey passed away suddenly on July 12, 2022 in his own home, at the age of 73 years.
He will be forever missed and loved by his wife of 47 years Margaret Rose; his sons Ken (Liz) and Sean; his grandchildren: Matthew, Hayley, Brooke, and Bryce; siblings: Phyllis (Andre), Harold (Dana), Margaret (Francis), Regina, Richard (Holly), Veronica, Steven (Claudette), Paul, and David (Cecilia), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of friends and family.
He was pre-deceased by his parents James and Theresa Spurvey and siblings: Elizabeth (Louis), Madeline (Dennis), Josephine (George), and Agnes. Margaret’s parents Eve and Margaret Lucas and all of his brothers and sisters in-law that he loved so dearly.
Alphonsus will be remembered for his accordion playing, generosity, humour, and caring nature and did anything to put a smile on everyone’s face. He enjoyed playing his music at the retirement homes and spending time with his beautiful wife. He truly wanted everyone to be happy. He absolutely loved his friends and family and will be greatly missed by all.
To honor Phonse’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation and funeral mass to be announced.
