Allen Wayne Savage, 76 years old, passed at URVH in the early morning hours of October 1, 2022
Wayne was born November 7, 1945 to Allen and Eleanor (Vail) Savage. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Marilyn (Davenport); by his daughters Melanie (Joel) McGee, Julie Savage, son John and his partner Sarah London, his sister Marsha Ahmadi and his brother Brock, (Susan); nine grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition, he is sorely missed by his business partner, David Tribe and family and his faithful cousin, Donnie Savage.
Predeceasing Him were his parents and brother-in-law,
Dr. Mahmood Ahmadi.
Wayne was a lifetime resident at Pioneer farm Williamstown. He was a loving grandson to Grandmother Jane Savage, leaving school after eighth grade to help care for Jane and then later, for his wife Marilyn. He was primary caregiver for both his parents.
His passion from early years was motors, trucks, and collectible cars. This passion grew his career to partner with David Tribe, Small Town Fuels. Where you saw David, you would see Wayne. They were inseparable.
In later years, and thanks to the Andrew and Laura McCain Library tutorial opportunity, his last decade has been enriched by learning to read. His Bible, the editorial’s, auto magazines and many western story books, among others, brought him great joy.
Wayne was an adherent of Free Will Baptist Church; Bristol and he looked forward to the fellowship each week.
He was a loyal friend, a private man. He abundantly loved his family and enriched the lives of many through the simple gift of giving, regardless of the need.
As we say in Carleton County, he died with his boots on. Starting his day, beside his Small Town Fuel truck. God speed Allen Wayne and thank you for a life well lived. You left us all but never to be forgotten.
Always in our hearts. He was one of the good ones
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022, at 1PM at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB with interment at Williamstown Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Williamstown WI Hall following the interment.
