Allen Mogens Adams 1953 2022

Allen
Adams, formerly of Miramichi, N.B., passed away at the Moncton City
Hospital on November 26, 2022 at the age of 69, following an ongoing
illness.
Born in Woodstock, N.B., he was the
son of the late Davis and Margaret (Gustavsen) Adams.
Allen was a graduate of James M. Hill High School and the
People’s College of Copenhagen. This study in Denmark was
the beginning of his passion for travel and also ignited his interest
and career path in the hotel and hospitality industry, working at many
prestigious hotels and restaurants such as; Hotel Nova Scotia, The
Silver Spoon, Hotel Beausejour, CN Hotel and Whistler Hotel.
In addition, Allen was the proud owner of
Saddler’s Cafe Restaurant in Chatham -where he worked
tirelessly from sun up to sun down meticulously preparing delicious
meals and introducing the Miramichi to unique food creations in a
unique environment.
Allen is survived by two
brothers; Brandt (Donna) and John (Sandy), both in Miramichi; as well
as several nieces and nephews, one aunt, Betty Lordly of Halifax and
many cousins and life long friends.
Besides
his parents, Allen was predeceased by two sisters; Astrid Jowett and
Christine Adams; and brother-in-law Chris Jowett.
At Allen’s request there will be no visiting or
funeral service. A graveside burial will be held at St.
Paul’s Anglican cemetery, Miramichi in the spring.
Donations to the Crohn’s
and Colitis Canada Foundation or the SPCA would be
appreciated.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers
