Allan, James Edward ‘Jim’
The family of the late Jim Allan would like to announce his passing on January 31, 2022 in Beaver Lodge, Alberta, just one day shy of his 78th birthday.
Jim was born on February 1, 1944, the much loved son of the late Wilfred and Edna Allan.
He was the loving husband of Ruth Parker and proud father of Keven Allan, Cyndie Roufosse, Brandon, Nathan, and Royce Allan and Karen, Wes and Edwin Cook. Jim was the cherished grandfather of Kristen, Kasey, Kyle, Fallon, Gregory, Levi, Braydon, Natalie and Chelsie, Misty and Amber, Rene, Mystery, and Sebastian.
Jim was the dear brother of John (Evelyn) of Bracebridge, Maxine Clarke of London, Ron and Terry of Meaford, Alice (late Cecil) Carlisle of Meaford, Marie (Elwood) Fawcett of Minadosa, MB, Anne (late Louis) Cahoon of Owen Sound, Ruth (Terry) Watts and Bob (Leone) Allan all of Meaford, Lois (late Dave) Taylor of London and Barb (Charles) Dembroski of Owen Sound.
He was predeceased his siblings Edwin Clarke, Grace Stewart, Clifford and Jim Muzzell of Owen Sound. Jim will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by nephew Greg Allan.
A service of committal and interment will take place in the late spring in Beaver Lodge, AB.
