Alice Sich

Alice Sich (nee Blaskovich) of Quinton, SK, passed away on January 21, 2022.
Alice was raised in the Lestock area and attended Poplar Peak school. She was an avid gardener and loved sharing her garden produce, whether it was fresh or canned. She spent much of her time crocheting and quilting which she also shared with many. She was very giving of her time and was involved in many local organizations over the years. She was a weather observer for Environment Canada recording weather data for them for 30+ years and she organized and participated in the local Terry Fox Run for over 30+ years.
Alice is survived by her daughter Valorie (Ron) Dolha, granddaughter Stacey (Jamie) Kifferling, great grandchildren Taylor and Dustin, grandson Derek (April) Dolha, great grandchildren Danica and Dylan, grandson Lee (Misti) Dolha and great granddaughter Ricki; daughter Vonnie (Denis) Brodner, grandson Russel (Krystal) Brodner, great grandchildren Mikaela and Kasen, granddaughter Joylynn Brodner, grandson Nathan (Lois)Brodner, great grandchildren Andi, Winston and Kasey; son Calvin (Paulette) Sich, grandsons Grayson (Amanda) Sich and Catlin (Lisa) Sich, great grandchildren Lacey, Hudson and Hanna; and daughter Vivienne Sich as well as her sisters Mary Pryde and Velma Veresh and sisters-in-law Bev Blaskovich and Elizabeth Blaskovich. She is predeceased by her husband Jim Sich, son-in-law Gary Church, parents Frank and Annie Blaskovich, sisters Pearl Hobert and Geraldine Racz and brothers John and Chester Blaskovich.
