Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice O’Connor, 69, of Stettler, AB, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, NB, Alice was the first daughter of Margaret O’Connor (Legere), and (late) Vincent O’Connor.
Alice will be sadly missed by her children, son Duane (Andrea), Airdrie, AB, and daughter Jessica, Drayton Valley, AB; her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Blayk, Alexander, and Amelia Grace; sisters, Pat (Scott) Bayfield, NB, Kathy (Guylaine) Moncton, NB and brother Robert (Darlene) Lower Sackville, NS.
Alice lived a life of service. She thoroughly enjoyed her “union” work and her years at Willow Creek prior to her retirement. She loved shopping, a good bargain, a good book, lots of knitting (of which she shared), time spent with family and friends, and especially her time spent with her precious grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place. As per wishes, there is no visitation or service. A celebration of Alice will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
