It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Alice Mildred Pollock, age 81,
of Oxford, NS. Alice passed away at the East Cumberland
Lodge on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Born in Rossland, BC, she was a daughter
of the late Harry and Viola (Rasmussen) Dixon.
Alice was a life long volunteer at her
church and many libraries both out west and back home. She
will be dearly missed by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth, Pugwash;
her daughter Cristal MacKinnon, Calgary, AB; granddaughter Cassandra,
Calgary, AB; and many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water Street,
Oxford, NS (902-447-2167) where visiting hours will take place on
Wednesday from 1 pm until 2 pm, followed immediately at 2 pm by her
funeral service, Lawry MacLeod officiating. Burial will
follow in the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
Donations in memory of Alice may be made
to the Trinity United Church, Oxford, or the Cumberland Regional
Libraries.
