Alice Marion (Stevenson) Bowen, 71, of Scott’s
Bay, known as the family Princess, passed away peacefully at home on
October 9, 2022, with her loving family near. Born in Kentville, she
was a daughter of the late Agnes (Muise) and Russell Stevenson Sr.
Alice is survived by her loving husband Oliver and her son Sojy who
was her pride and joy. She had a love for bingo and enjoyed her bingo
trips. Known for her huge heart, one in a million. She is also
survived by her cherished siblings, Peter (Zelda) Stevenson, Albert
(Ineze) Stevenson, Vivian (Steve) Fenerty, Ralph (Debra) Stevenson,
Grace Stevenson, Rachel (Peter) Stevens, Leo (Donna) Stevenson and
Walter (Sheri) Stevenson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She
was adored by her precious companion and pet, Aggie. Alice was
predeceased by her older siblings, Alford Stevenson, the twins Willis
Tolbart and Russell Stevenson Jr., Robert “Bobby” Stevenson
Sr., Elizabeth “Betty” Stevenson and Martha James. The
funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022,
with livestreaming at that time, in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville, Reverend Gary Manthorne and Reverend Galvin Simmonds
officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. For online
