1940-2022
The passing of Alice Cecile (Richardson) Lambert, wife of the
late Stirling Lambert of Lambertville NB occurred at the Charlotte
County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on May 1, 2022 with her family by her
side. Born in St. Stephen NB on June 12, 1940, she was a daughter of
the late Desmond and Lena (Tewksbury) Richardson. A loving mother,
grandmother and sister, Alice is survived by her daughters: Natalie
(Derek) Green and Bonita (David) Dolan; her grandchildren: Shelby
Dolan (Greg Dale), Oliver Green, Casey Dolan (James Mario) and Emma
Green; one brother: Murray (Gloria) Richardson; and several nieces,
nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and her husband
Stirling in 1999, Alice was predeceased by her brothers: Paul and
Cecil.
Prior to her retirement Alice worked with her husband in the
printing business. They proudly produced graduation invitations for
many schools throughout the province for 40 years and they also did
typeset and layout for the Quoddy Tides for 25 years. Alice loved to
be in the company of her family and was a known cat
lover.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at Lambert’s Cove
Baptist Church, Lambert’s Cove NB with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4
and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the church on Thursday at
2:00 pm with Rev. John Martin and Rev. Kevin Richardson
officiating followed by the interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. In
Alice’s memory, donations to Mount Hope Cemetery, the Deer Island
Chapter of CARMA or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
