LeBlanc, Alfred
Douglas, of Mulgrave NS passed away on July
9, 2022 at 83 years of age. He is survived by his sister Mary LeBlanc,
his niece Vera LeBlanc and grand niece Rachael LeBlanc. He is
predeceased by his mother Helen LeBlanc (Goodwin), his father Simon
LeBlanc, his sister Shirley LeBlanc, his brother Seward LeBlanc and
his beloved childhood dog Nikki.
He had kind eyes and a big heart to those who were
close to him. He loved the music of Hank Snow, and a point he was
proud of was getting to meet him in his youth. He enjoyed telling
jokes and getting a laugh. He was a spiritual man and was ready when
God called him home.
A special thank you to his friends at Kings Rehabilitation
Center who were a huge and important part of his life, especially in
his later years. “My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the
strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” Psalm
73:26
There will be a small graveside gathering for
family and friends at a later date. Memorial donations in
memory of Alfred may be made to the Kings Rehabilitation Center or the
ROC Society.
