Obituary of Alexander Hornland
Alexander Carl Hornland. November 13,1989-March 10,2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alexander Hornland, resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, former resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the age of 32 years.
Alex was born in Sibiu, Romania. He spent the first 10 months of his life in Romania. Upon his arrival in Canada he lived in Terrace for a year and then Chetwynd for the next 5 years. He then moved with his family to Dawson Creek. Alex played hockey from novice to Junior, ball hockey at the Ark and soccer for many years. He loved family camping trips, quadding and snowmobiling. Later in life he loved drawing and walking along the ocean taking pictures. Alex was predeceased by his Grandma Esther, his Grandpa Glenn, and his Grandma Betty. He is survived by his parents Dwain and Juli, Grandpa Martin, brother Shane, sister Cathy, nieces Breanna and Kristi, nephews Colten, Isaiah and Josh and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A private service will be held at Reynars Funeral Home.
