Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving brothers George and Des on February 16, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
Loving husband to the late Gail. Beloved father to Jeff (Debbie) Lambing, Terry (Jim) Finney and Chris (Sharron) Lambing. Loved Poppo to Jason, James, Kyle, Corey and the late Rachel and great-grandpa to Aubryn, Avri, Jayenna, Cole, Dayton and Elara. Dear son to the late Alex and Cathleen Gramada. Dear brother to Gloria (the late Joe) Baril, Marjorie (the late Leo) Mayville, Desmond (the late Mary) Gramada, George and the late Edward. Alex will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Alex was the personal physician (mechanic) to 90 Checker Cabs (1960-1978). Alex was instrumental in bringing in apprentices so they can achieve their mechanics license. Alex was plant manager, repairman, fabricator, coffee roaster at Colonial Coffee Company for many years until his retirement. He especially enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing in Northern Ontario and the Northwest Territories with his fishing buddy Ron.
If you so desire, memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
RSVP and personal face coverings must be worn to attend the visiting Saturday February 19, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Families First, 2130 Front Rd. LaSalle, (519-969-5841). Cremation to follow. Share memories, photos or make a donation online at www.FamiliesFirst.ca
