Albert ten Den 1917 2022

Obituary of Albert ten Den
Albert ten Den in his 106th year, went into the loving arms of our Lord on June 18, 2022 to join the love of his life Johanna (2013).
Immigrating to Canada with his family in 1953, Albert and Johanna worked hard to finally purchase a farm in Wainfleet where he could build up his prize herd of holstein cattle. For his efforts he was given several awards including the Master Breeders Award.
Since retiring from the farm, Albert took up some hobbies as golf, bowling, dancing and playing cards; something he still did the week of his passing.
Albert is survived by his children Henry (Catherine) ten Den, Enna (Nick) Oud and Rita (Jerry) Vink. Albert was the loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his sister in law Mary van den Akker and nephews Al (Susan) ten Den & Hank (Toni) ten Den,
Albert’s family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday June 21, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Wainfleet at 11:30 a.m. with Father Stanley Ksciuk as celebrant.
