It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Hilton at the age of 90 years. Loving husband of Mary Lou for 60 years. Cherished father of Craig, David, and Douglas (Enza). Adoring Grandpa of Courtney, Victoria and Olivia. Reunited in heaven with loving parents Sarah and Harold Hilton. Albert was raised in Leamington, Ontario and moved to Windsor to start his 37 year career with Ford Motor Company. Albert will be remembered as a devoted family man, a true gentleman with a kind spirit, who always made everyone feel special. He was especially proud of his three grand-daughters and all of their accomplishments. Albert was an active member in the Ford golf league, the Ford bowling league and the Ford Salaried Retiree’s Association. He was a 60 year member of Riverside United Church, sang in the Chancel Choir, and was a member of the Mutual Care Committee. Albert will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (BANWELL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 at 2 -5pm and 7 -9pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10am. An interment will take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens (add) following the funeral service.
