PATTERSON, Albert ‘Kevin’
Pictou
PATTERSON, Albert ‘Kevin’ Elleston -59, of Pictou passed away June 15, 2022 at home. Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late Arthur Patterson and Pearl (Winters) and step son of Geordie MacKay. Albert was a man who they say held the keys to the town of Pictou. He was known for all his jobs that kept him busy and took great pride in his work for his town and his family. He was also known for his loud whistling any hour, every hour. As many people may or may not be aware, he was hit by a car in his younger years forever changing his life, making him the man he was today. Albert leaves behind his partner, Bonnie Redmond; brothers, Robert, Alfred, Chester; sisters, Carol, Phyllis, Maryann; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and 2 great-great nephews, who he will be forever missed by. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Charles and sister, Donna Darlene. Special thanks to Dave, Ann, Peter and Jeanette. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday in McLaren Funeral Home. A private family graveside will take place in Hamilton Cemetery. Donations in Albert’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
