Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Albert Rowe of Chance Cove, aged 81 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Noah and Sarah Rowe; parents-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth Smith; sister, Millie Thorne; brother, Carl Rowe; brothers-in-law, Levi Temple and Brian Mussen; sister-in-law, Gloria Hanlon.
Leaving to mourn and to celebrate his life are his wife of 60 years, Alfreda; children, Lorraine (David) White, Wanda (Carsten) Schnuelle, John (Maryanne) Rowe, Darren (Vickey) Rowe, and Christine Rowe; grandchildren, Johnny, Kyle, Steven, Jasmine, Sherman, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Evelyn, Jett, Remi, and Kessler; siblings, Robert (Vera) Rowe, Elsie Temple (Ron), Cecil (Glenys) Rowe, Baxter Rowe, Lykie (Lillian) Rowe, Ann Mussen, Lillian (Randy) Smith, and Gary (Debbie) Rowe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom (Ruby) Smith, Edith York (John), Christine (Burkley) Anderson, Muriel (Leo) Brazil, Linda Bellissimo, and Frank Smith; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Resting at the Salvation Army, Chance Cove with visitation on Monday, February 7, 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of Covid-19, Alert Level 4, this will be a walk through only, one household bubble at a time, and proof of vaccination is required. Everyone is asked to sign the contact-tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
A service to celebrate Albert’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 8 at 2:00 pm and will be by invitation only. Masks are mandatory and vaccine passport with photo ID will be required. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Chance Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Albert’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Chance Cove.
