Obituary of Alan Michael Howlett
HOWLETT, Alan Michael – age 67, of Lantz, formerly of Wellington, passed away peacefully in the QEll, Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax, on March 3, 2022. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Arnold) Howlett.
Alan enjoyed his job as a fuel truck drive for over 20 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lorraine “Norma”; brothers Gordon, Toronto, ON, Ken (Diane), Wellington, Bob (Jane), Wellington, Bruce (Debbie), Wellington, Tom (Bev), Windsor; mother-in-law, Lily Guy; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Joseph Norman Howlett; sisters, Joan Stevens and Kay MacDonnell; father-in-law Norman Guy
A funeral service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. Reception to follow in the Elmsdale Legion, Elmsdale.

Spring interment in Preeper Hill Cemetery with his son Joey.
