Obituary of Alan Hood
Hood, Alan Samuel – 84 of Garlands Crossing, NS, passed away on August 10th, 2022, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor on September 28th, 1937, he was the son to the late William and Francis (Shiers) Hood.
Alan loved hunting, farming, drives, playing tricks, dances, and going to the Forties for dinners.
Alan is survived by daughter Debbie Laffin, son Philip (Marilyn) Hood, sisters Joan Othred and Ruby Monroe. Grandchildren Christopher, Dustin, and Samantha and several great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Alan is predeceased by brothers Billy, Victor, sisters Mildred McReynolds, Elizabeth Demont, Mary Duchak, first wife Helena (Jollymore) Hood, second wife Shirley (Baltzer) Hood.
A private family committal service will be held in memory of Alan at a later date.
